Last Thursday, September 17, Mr. Partesi came with his band to present the music that they offer for lessons. They had the piano, the guitar, the trombone, the drums, and even the tamborine. They played classic songs like ACDC’s “Shook Me All Night Long”, and they played new pop songs like Bruno Mars’s “Uptown Funk”. Grace Aroneo said “I loved the music”. Cassie Apuzzo said “It was rad”. The whole school had a great time listening to the music. If you want to sign up there are flyers available. Everybody who takes music lessons has a great time! Cross Country This year's St. Vincent de Paul cross-country team will do better than last year’s. In previous years, we have finished top positions but not first, for lack of people. This year we have a bigger number of participants. Our coach, Mr. Theoclitus, is ready to push everyone to make them faster. Their first practice they ran 8 laps just for a warm-up! Our cross-country team also has many already fast runners such as Laura Baeyens, Richie Mistichelli, and Nicholas Lucente. |
